NIU Faculty Composers Concert
Wednesday, March 25, 20267:00 - 8:00 PM
Location
Recital Hall550 Lucinda Ave,
Dekalb, IL 60115 This will be the premiere of Mono No Aware for fixed stereo and video. The title refers to the Japanese aesthetic concept of mono no aware, which is the bittersweet awareness of impermanence. There are many illusions to water, awlays moving and rearranging to get to an ever-changing lowest point.
I will also be performing with Mark Snyder in his piece Calena, playing guitar while Mark plays theremin. I'll be on the DC30 amp with the 2x12 cabinet that I built with Tim Sullivan, so come to Dekalb and hear it sing.
